Destination Santa Fe, NM

Santa Fe, NM an enclave of Artist and beatniks is not only good for it’s art works, and skiing, but its views and shops as well. As with other locations I have visited and written about the price tag to stay in a good location of this mountain town can be steep. I however did not have this problem due to the fact that I was living in Albuquerque at the time and it is only a short 45-minute drive. So if funds are limited, best to take the short drive.

When visiting SF, you never know whom you will run into, and it is an unwritten rule that you DO NOT approach these people for autographs, maybe this is why there are so many stars living in or around the area. One of which is an old friend of mine, and he says he loves the area for "its peace and serenity." I’m going to assume that he wasn’t getting this in Hollywood, and hence the move.

If you are an art enthusiast, Santa Fe is your best bet outside of New York, and possible should be your first stop. There are many fine shops, and restaurants on the main square that cater to just about any budget. Santa Fe, NM is number 2 on my best places to live and or visit. If you’ve not have the pleasure of doing so, this should be one added to your bucket list.
