If ever in Chi town (Chicago), you must stop in at the RL Bar & grill. With a plethora of good eats, and the prices are decent as well. If you are a RL fan, this is a must visit. The style embodies everything RL, and his American style.

I have had both lunch and dinner at RL-- a grand experience each time. I've tried lamb (the rack and the porterhouse), lobster bisque, lobster & bacon club and desserts. Each was outstanding. Service is efficient, cordial and unobtrusive. As you'd expect, each detail is perfectly executed-- lit candles covered with lampshades at each table and a coordination of color, texture and art distinctly Ralph's own.There's lots of wood, deep blue cloth on the walls, buckskin leather seating and a blend of black and white photos (Mick Jagger, Gary Cooper, Frank Sinatra, etc.) with old English oils that somehow works beautifully. The front bar area is vintage RL library- study decor, complete with working fireplace,bookcases, etc. If you like his style in clothes and furnishings, you'll love this place and dine very well. I heard that RL has new management and boy can you tell!! The menu has undergone a complete makeover and the food is very good. The traditional American cuisine fits the clubby atmosphere of the room. Keep up the good work.
