Its getting close to that time of year when we will need to break out the Wellies. Some of us wear these year round for mucking, for others it’s a fashion statement, go figure. My daughter is even tinkering with the thought of having her own pair.
I have had a pair for years now, and have gotten great use of them. My plan is to purchase another pair this spring. One in green, and maybe one in chocolate to jump on the fashion bandwagon.

If you like them I suggest that you pick up a pair from J Crew. They have them for $115.00.
I wear mine around the farm when I am either mucking the stalls, or working around the ponds. So pretty much everywhere on the farm. As I’m sure you know, they keep the feet nice and dry.
Seeing how you will be visiting your father on his farm, and will be doing chores, this would be a great buy. Especially if you are working in chicken houses, or horse stables. For the price I think they are the best, get your wife a pair as well. I will post mine as soon as I purchase them.
I’ve decided on a new pair as I am now starting to get moisture inside the boots. However, don’t let this keep you from getting a pair, as I have had mine for close to 20 years.
